Comments: Just returned from my first moose hunt and stay at camel brook camps. We had a great time, shot a 600lb cow moose on monday morning and saw a couple more later in the week. We saw and shot a bunch of birds. Jean's hospitality was far beyond any other place i have stayed and we had a good time telling stories and socializing in the garage. Thanks for helpful hints and good times, Jean I'm sure we will see you again.

Comments: we didn't know what to expect, renting on line , but once we arrived we found everything was beyond our expectations. The cabin was clean well kept and stocked with everything you'd see at home.Jean and Hunter were the perfect hosts and answered any questions and told a story or two with each one.We went there to stop at one of the four points and ride but spent more time at the cabin than expected due to the view and hospitaility shown us.This is not a cabin rental, you feel like family the first time you stay there. I will recommend camel brook to anyone i know heading that way.One of the more friendly places to visit. If given the opportunity I will return

Comments: I was lucky enough to spend two weeks at Camelbrook Camps for Moose hunting. 1st Monday harvested 950 lbs 53 1/2" bull, Weds 890Lbs 54" bull and Weds of 2nd week 600 lbs cow. I didn't shoot any, but I've got friends who let me tag along.
The cabins are great and Ann, Jean, and Hunter are fantastic host.
After hours in the garage, skinning, guartering and socializing are amoung some of the best memories that any old hunter can have.
Bird hunting was great. I even got to shoot at one of Jean's "Special" birds. It's all good fun.

Comments: I SPENT 2 WEEKS LODGING IN CAMEL BROOK CAMPS DURING THE NOV./09 DEER SEASON AND FOUND THE ACCOMMODATIONS IN IMMACULATE/METICULOUSY MAINTAINED CONDITION WITH ALL THE AMENITIES OF HOME,JEAN WAS 'ESPECIALLY' ACCOMMODATING,I REALLY ENJOYED OUR EARLY MORNING COFFEE TALKS AND HUNTER'S ANTICS, HE'S A GREAT LAB,MY SON JOINED US THE 2ND. WEEK WHILE ON BREAK FROM COLLEGE AND THE WIFI CAPABILITIES @ CAMP ENABLED HIM TO KEEP UP WITH HIS STUDIES IN THE EVENING,I'VE BEEN HUNTING THE 'BIG WOODS' SINCE NOV./01 AND THESE ARE THE BEST ACCOMMODATIONS EXPERIENCED THUS FAR,ANYONE I HAVE EVER MET IN MAINE HAS ALWAYS BEEN DOWN TO EARTH AND FRIENDLY, I LOVE THIS GREAT STATE, WE BOTH ARE LOOKING FOWARD TO NOV./10 DEER SEASON UNLESS I PULL A MOOSE TAG I'LL BE SEEING YOU SOONER,THANKS JEAN.

Comments: Five of us just spent a week at Camel Brook Camps Moose and Bird Hunting. These camps are top notch. Jean was an excellent host a**isted by his dog Hunter. We saw over thirty moose, countless birds, and enjoyed the friendly people of Fort Kent. We would recommend this area and these camps to anyone looking to create a memory of a life time.

Jean and Hunter take great care of everyone.
We, two sons, grand-daughter, brother-in-law, and three friends stayed with Jean 25 Sep-3 Oct 09.
Harvested a 900 lbs bull Monday and 20 birds Thursday and nine more Friday, but there are no moose or birds in WMD #1.(right Jean)
You'll have to experience this place to believe it, but I'm here to tell you that it was my best hunting week of my 62 years.
