Activities

The Fort Kent area is a mecca for snowmobiling and ATV enthusiasts. With alternate activities such as snowshoeing, skiing, hiking and mountain biking there is no end to the outdoor adventures that await you.

Hunting and Fishing remain popular activities in this wilderness area. The region's numerous lakes & rivers provide ample stock for fishing while the forest beckons both hunter and outdoor enthusiast alike.

 

The St. John Valley is located along the St. John River which forms the natural boundary between the United states and Canada. The Valley is covered in a crisp white blanket of snow from December to late March making it a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts. Summer in the Valley is one of perfect temperatures, abundant wildlife and pristine lakes and rivers.

 

Aroostook County offers more than 2300 miles of well-groomed snowmobile trails while over 200 kilometers of groomed ski trails provide free access to unprecedented cross country skiing. You can access the trails right from Camel Brook Camps.
